failure to mount drives After resizing the Casper file the fault went away and it was again possible to mount the 80gig HDD. It appears as a setting which fails to mount a HDD (IDE or external USB 120gig HDD while still being able to mount a 4gig USB stick) which is held within the Casper file and acts as if the mount points for sda and sdc are already assigned.
