You're right Tom, sound-juicer is now in Universe, priority optional, so I must 
be a retard too ;) . I remember it was one of the default packages some Ubuntu 
release ago, I didn't notice because I'm upgrading at least since 7.10.
Of course this doesn't change the fact that the packaged software is broken: 
really, a program shouldn't crash because you don't fill in a text field, it 
should either choose a default value or warn you.
Running aptitude show sound-juicer tells the mantainer is Ubuntu Developers 
<[email protected]>.
I didn't check if the new version is already in Debian's repos. If it is it 
should be easy to create an Ubuntu package, if even necessary.
