Kippenijzer: What command have you executed to see the PCI-ID? "lspci
-vvv -n"?

This shows me:

0a:00.0 0280: 10ec:8172 (rev 10)
        Subsystem: 10ec:8181
Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr-
Stepping- SERR+ FastB2B- DisINTx-
        Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort-
<MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx-
Latency: 0, Cache Line Size: 64 bytes
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 5
        Region 0: I/O ports at 4000 [size=256]
        Region 1: Memory at f0600000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
        Capabilities: <access denied>

So IF Subsystem equals the PCI-ID... why do I have other values than
you?

Here is "lspci -vvv":

Latency: 0, Cache Line Size: 64 bytes
