Can you run the following command which will gather and attach general
debug information:
apport-collect -p linux 501193
I assume you were initially running with the 2.6.31-14 kernel where
everything was OK. Can you comment which kernel you updated to where
the issue started to appear? Does booting back into the 2.6.31-14
kernel restore the expected functionality? Please let us know. Thanks.
