Oh, I'm sorry, my connection went down when I was editing the bug. Anyway I reopened because for this bug still exists. Maybe it needs a bit more of investigation. I'm still on Karmic and I have an nvidia 8400, with Compiz on often I can't use Openoffice or Evince. If I can help in some way please tell me, this bug is really making me frustrated and it's still present after every new release.
