Why is this a papercut? Dozens of papercuts have already been rejected because papercuts don't apply to the command-line. Ubuntu shouldn't trying to make the CLI user friendly - it should be fixing problems that exist at the GUI level. Please don't apply this patch, it is not solving a real problem.
