The problem may well lie in /etc/gdm/custom.conf but how can that be edited during the boot procedure?
BTW I just completed a fresh install and this is my /etc/gdm/custom.conf: [daemon] AutomaticLoginEnable=false AutomaticLogin=lance TimedLoginEnable=false TimedLogin=lance TimedLoginDelay=3 Until a fix is released I prefer this remain in ubiquity! If a Live CD just fails that is a ubiquity problem IMHO. -- lucid Live CD boots to login screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
