ok, I will test Lucid for you. Is there a chance that a problem is that I don't have a real 64 bit amd? my documentation shows that I have a "intel celeron d-360 3.46GHz 64-bit processor". "System Monitor" shows Processor: Intel Celeron D cpu 3.46GHz. Should I be using the 64 bit version of unbuntu? Dave
