Running 9.10 64amd on a dell xps m1530. Everything seems 2 work well for me and 
my sound at least the analog part. 
Tried HDMI on my moms-tv with the controller for geforce 8600m card and sound 
followed so cannot tell any bugs, but at least I have done as told by "my" log. 

hope more skilled ppl will get something out of this than I can. I think
i can recall this some time back. 9.04? but not sure
