Public bug reported:
ubuntu-desktop depends on network-manager-applet
I want to uninstall NetworkManager because it breaks NIS (bug 50430).
Can't do that as long as ubuntu-desktop (indirectly) depends on
NetworkManager.
So please downgrade ubuntu-desktop's network-manager-applet dependency
from "depends" to "recommends".
