Does this bug affect _everyone_ with an eeePC [900]? A "Tier 1" supported netbook platform.
It certainly destroyed the contents of my SSD. The workaround works, but there is no mention on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupport/Machines/Netbooks or elsewhere of this very serious bug. At the very least warning potential users of this bug might save someone from losing all of their data.
