Binary package hint: kde-l10n-fi
Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic for amd64 (system is Intel Core2Quad, 8GB RAM, ATI4850 with
fglrx, 4x1TB SATA)
Update manager included the kds-l10n-fi package among regular updates. It
failed to install, with the message:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/kde-l10n-
fi_4%3a4.3.4-0ubuntu1~karmic1_all.deb: trying to overwrite
'/usr/share/locale/fi/LC_MESSAGES/kimagemapeditor.mo', which is also in
package kde-i18n-fi 4
To resolve this, I removed kde-i18n-fi (not sure what installed it, but
nothing which is installed depended on it) using Synaptic, and was then
able to install the update for kde-l10n-fi also using Synaptic.
