@Przemysław: No, I obviously cannot verify if this bug still exists. As you may (or rather may not) have read from the above, this was an automated crash report, for which I was unable to tell the actual reason two years ago. After some of those crashes, I switched back to KMail, which I still (more) happily run on my current Kubuntu Karmic.
My work with posting this crash report was obviously not necessary for anybody.
