Dropping in my own "me too". For me having the preview window open and clicking on an email in the exchange mailbox causes evolution to crash. Disabling the preview window and trying to open an email via double click opens a new window for viewing the email, but that window remains empty for around 8 to 15 seconds before evolution crashes.
