Thank you Nelsson! I am however concerned that if I 'experiment' something might make the resolution worse or impossible..is there an expert out there (Nelsson or someone else who is expert in this area)?
Should I just 1) take Nelsson's xorg.conf 2) delete the vRefresh-rate line then save and exit? or instead should I keep his file as is and it's 99% certain it won't make my monitor unusable? (The above is my main question..as secondary question: any clues why Dapper Drake worked perfectly with my monitor (or detecting it) while Hardy and now Koala don't? shouldn't this be a bug fixed for next version of Koala since Drake was able to understand my monitor?) Thanks -- [K8M800]Screen resolution used to be ok in Ubuntu 6, not in 8.04 and later https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/503674 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
