sentence:

"2) Report a specific bug about that DSDT - the current policy is to fix
the bugs in the kernel and NOT loading custom DSDT. That won't change
any time soon.".

Do you mean that 
- in _specific_ cases the kernel _could_ be instructed to override the DSDT, or 
that
- it may try to workaround the DSDT flaws but without changing it directly, or 
that
- the bug should be reported just for the sake of information, but not much can 
be done about it because DSDT problems are not "bugs in the kernel"?

It is one crucial point that I'd like to understand, and presumably Tony
and Simone too. Thanks.
