Binary package hint: meld
Meld show three panes. There used to be (jaunty?) arrows at the
differences that you could press to say, "copy from here to there".
They're invisible in my current (karmic) version of meld. There's just a
tiny line instead. I'm not sure if this is a conscious change in UI, but
the functionality doesn't seem to be replicated elsewhere, so I just
don't know.
