Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
I can start Evolution and minimize it after reading a couple of emails
on my maildir. I read mail locally, get mail with fetchmail, and
sendmail through evolution with msmtp.
Evolution will seg fault just sitting there minimized, it will just
disappear.
Starting Evolution in the terminal, at the bottom is says seg fault.
First I try reinstall everything related to Evolution and remove the
exchange plugin since I do not use it. Still segfaults.
Then I blow away .evolution directory, same problem again.
I try to debug evolution, here is the output... see attached...
gdb does not show the segault like the terminal, what's up with that?
also, sometimes but very rarely, emapthy window will also disappear.
haven't had much trouble with that though, but it may point to the
problem???
