Robert, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to
make Ubuntu better. To understand this problem further, could you
please see if there is any difference in behavior if you exit Firefox
using File -> Quit? Also, does this happen every time, or does it seem
random?
As a note to help with diagnostics, you don't have to restart the
computer everytime. You can open a terminal (in Accessories) and issue
the command "killall firefox" and that should kill the program.
