Public bug reported:
After booting a system with ami-d524c9bc , the system will lock up after
a few minutes, becoming unreachable via ssh or ping.
ec2 ami ami-d524c9bc :
ubuntu-images-testing-us/ubuntu-lucid-daily-i386-server-20100111.manifest.xml
kernel: aki-60cb2609

A reboot (ec2-reboot-instances) will bring the system back, but it may
die again later.
The system will just become unreachable via ssh and even internal ec2
ping.
