Still exists in karmic. To reproduce install Adobe flash, use FireFox and log in into Flickr, try to upload a file, the filedialog opens and all possible filetypes are added to a single line in the combo box.
Without Flash, an empty filetype combo is shown (Which will fit any screenwidth.). This don't happen in Chrome, the filetype combo is missing totally here. I suggest to assign this bug to the Firefox package.
