Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
As we all can see, Firefox 3.6 version has just entered Release Candidate stage of development: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-rc.html Considering this and the fact that incoming Lucid is going to be LTS, I think Firefox should be upgraded to 3.6rc1 in Lucid repositories. Another issue is the re-design of Mozilla policy on issuing new Firefox versions: they intend to do it more frequently (versions like 3.7 should come quite soon). Taking this into account, it should be considered if 3.6 will be upgraded to 3.7 in Lucid (as a "minor" upgrade) or will it happen only for the next Ubuntu release.
