Public bug reported: Binary package hint: moreutils
ts is one of the commands in moreutils for "timestamp input". The man page says: If the -r switch is passed, it instead converts existing timestamps in the input to relative times, such as "15m5s ago". Many common timestamp formats are supported. Note that the Time::Duration and Date::Parse perl modules are required for this mode to work. However if you use the "-r" option, you get the following error message: $ echo test | ts -r Can't locate Time/Duration.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.0 /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.10 /usr/share/perl/5.10 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at (eval 1) line 3. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 1) line 3. If ts depends on extra perl modules to work, then moreutils should depend on it ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Jan 12 20:17:30 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: moreutils 0.35 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_IE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-16.53-generic SourcePackage: moreutils Uname: Linux 2.6.31-16-generic i686 ** Affects: moreutils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- "ts -r" doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/506596 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
