Hi, Those .deb files, can be installed with gDebi and double click. After that and a restart, there should be a new grub entry that you can choose and try.
After tests, you can either choose grub to start with 2.6.31 again and/or delete 2.6.32. I'd encourage you to ask in ubuntuforums.org for more information if you want to help and learn. Anyway, also, you can start a liveCD version of alpha version of Lucid, downloading it from here http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid/alpha-1/ Thanks for helping -- System hangs randomly in Karmic 32 bit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498495 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
