Public bug reported:
I am using current lucid and I am unable to login to console.
Alt-Ctrl-F[1-6] just show a black screen with a blinking cursor.
It seems that no getty is running.
The only way to login to my system is through kdm.
Then from X I can run getty and get appropriate console logins.
I am not sure when this bug was appeared. I believe around 1 or 2 months
ago.
