Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I have had a working lucid environment until I updated yesterday the
xserver
The machine is an HP compq dc5700 microtower.
The X server was not able to run : black locked screen
in the Xorg.0.log , there was a reference to an unattended device regarding X :
return null : HDA digital pc beep (audio controler I think) .
I had to downgrade to karmic.Unfortunately , I can not retry it because I need
the machine, at the moment.
