It's strange. When I have the PDF with the BLACK background opened, all the other "normal" pdf's from my MySQL course get completely black.
However, if I try opening some other pdfs like the one Sebastian posted right here, the problem doesn't occur. This leads me to think that there might be something strange within the pdfs of my course. I don't know if it might be relevant, but the PDF with the black background, as well as the other pdfs of my course where made on a Mac. Also note that the one with the Black Background come from a guest teacher, while all the others were made by my regular teacher.
