@Jonathan Thomas You are right, I update Amarok to 2.2.2 version, and with the permission applied previouslly to ~.kde folder, Amarok still works great, so the folder is not touched. May be the problem in some other package/dependency of Kde, that is installed togheter Kde applications like Amarok, K3b, and so on.
