Binary package hint: openoffice.org
When you activate the quickstarter feature of OpenOffice through
Tools>Options>Memory and select to "Enable systray quickstarter", it
will only stay in the tray for the current session.
You don't have to re-enable it for each session, but the feature and
icon will not appear in the system tray until you have started
OpenOffice for each session. It's supposed to load in the tray
automatically.
I'm using the following flavor: Ubuntu-Fiesty #4
