I'll give the Lucid kernel a try, but I'm not quite sure how to do this properly. Do I simply install the linux-headers and linux-image debs from your link and then select this kernel in grub? Are there any possible side-effects to be aware of? Maybe you can point me to some instructions about installing a pre-release kernel. Thanks!
