Public bug reported:

Sorry if this is the wrong place but, I am having an issue with the
command KDESU "SH /CDROM/CDROMUPGRADE" not working. I have tried it and
get a request for a password. My CD-ROM spins up and then nothing. The
CD-ROM then spins down.

I have also tried the command, KDESU "SH /CDROM0/CDROMUPGRADE". A
request for a password is sent. I input my passoword and then I get an
error message that reads," Command 'sh /cdrom0/cdromupgrade' not found".
I would like to upgrade to Edgy Eft for Kubuntu and will not try it
through Adept after my last mishap which, toasted my system. Adept
download Gnome and NOT! KDE and over-wrote the current KDE install. It
was nasty.

If there is no solution, I have to export all my settings and backup
Giga-Bytes of data beyond what I have done with my personal data and
then run the Edgy Install as if there were no O.S. on my machine. I
don't want to do that either. My CD-ROM is shown on the desktop and it
is mounted. I can also browse my CD-ROM and see all the Edgy files.
