Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
There are many formulas that can retrieve and process data from various cells
and ranges etc. it would be better to have a macro that could do the same
thing but I can not find any instruction how to do it. It would be clearer
code and easier to document in visual basic. There does not seem to be
adequate support for this. IT IS MUCH BETTER, EASIER, AND NEATER TO BE ABLE TO
USE VISUAL BASIC.
For example replace the formula
=SUMPRODUCT(A2:A21="f",B2:B21="c",D2:D21*F2:F21)
with VBA code to enter the same data into cell I4
and =SUMPRODUCT(A3:A22="m",B3:B22="p", D3:D22*F3:F22) into cell I5
etc. these are relatively simple formulas and I need to create more complex
ones
I will try to download this example sheet with this email.
Thank you
