Well I don't know if this bug (if it truly should have been considered such) was actually fixed with an update or not. I just reinstalled my system after running into it and not finding anyone that could help me in a couple weeks. I have not attempted to recreate, though I guess it might as well be closed as this is getting old now and no one else had any interest in this bug. It was probably caused by one of the many things I had been playing with on my system but I was just hoping at the time someone had done something similar and could help me out or maybe there really was an issue with gnome-power-manager getting broken too easily.
-- Keeps displaying error message at start up saying power manager is not configured correctly and now it takes a really long time to show the shut down options and suspend/hibernate are missing. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/327462 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
