Backporting pulseaudio & rtkit to Karmic won't help - it relies on a kernel feature not present in 2.6.31. I'm not familiar with fofix, what kind of buffer size are you talking about? I also see you have modified /etc/pulse/daemon.conf to have a different default-fragment-size-msec, does that affect the buffer size?
My hardware is not that different from yours and I don't experience that kind of trouble, so I'm a little puzzled... -- Pulseaudio makes video have poor performance on gaming (proportional to buffer size) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508205 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
