Public bug reported:
While booting edgy displays these lines:
* Files under mount point '/var/run' will be hidden.
and
* Files under mount point '/var/lock' will be hidden.
(this message is also visible when using usplash)
I'm sure that this might confuse users of the 6.10 stable edition if it
still appears in October.
