I just tried installing the debug symbols for gnome-system-monitor as per the linked instructions. However, the instructions aren't fully clear.
Although the installation went OK, running gnome-system-monitor-dbgsym results in this: dar...@ubuntu-desktop:~$ gnome-system-monitor-dbgsym gnome-system-monitor-dbgsym: command not found If I try to run the backtrace with gnome-system-monitor I get this message: Reading symbols from /usr/bin/gnome-system-monitor...Reading symbols from /usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/gnome-system-monitor...done. (no debugging symbols found)...done. So I assume the backtrace isn't going to work. Any help? -- System Monitor won't close through normal methods, I have to kill the process. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/482680 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
