Tethering your iPhone via USB or Bluetooth should be functionality
included with Ubuntu out of the box. It is now relatively easy to
achieve over Bluetooth and works very well (see
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/iphone-tethering-on-ubuntu-9-10-karmic.html).
Having this functionality baked into Network Manager would be a great
new feature. Tethering via USB is also described at this link but far
too complicated for me to try. iPhones are everywhere and it would be
great if tethering was easily accessible to less sophisticated Ubuntu
users like myself.
