Here's my report, for an old Fujitsu drive in an equally aged Dell Inspiron 500m laptop.
Palimpset reports 65537 reallocated sectors, raw value is 0x01000100cf07. Don't know how many reallocated sectors there really are, but I cannot believe that the real value is coincidentally so close to 2^16. ** Attachment added: "palimpset-bug-dell-500m.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/38004595/palimpset-bug-dell-500m.png -- palimpsest bad sectors false positive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/438136 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
