I was wrong. After disabling encrypted swap and home folder, I can still
reproduce this bug.

** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 475936
race condition between encrypted device creation and mountall probing with
random-encrypted devices (swap, tmp)

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gnome-session

- For some reason gnome-session doesn't always start when using an
- encrypted swap. I have to use the xtern session from gdm to then start
- gnome-session manually (the attached screenshot shows the first messages
- given by the gnomoe-session command). This this issue started after
- Thursday's updates (gdm, xsplash ...). I'm getting this bug for users
- having an encrypted /home -folder and for those having an unencrypted
- /home folder.

Workaround: wait up to 2-3 minutes before trying to login (I have no
- idea what the system does, but maybe it's related to the encrypted
- swap).
