Hi,
I have a usb hdd that I use to test live cds of ubuntu with better performance.
I have syslinux installed in the main partition (FAT32).
The "process" I use to create the live USB is: extract iso content
within the FAT32 partition, rename isolinux folder to syslinux and
rename the isolinux.cfg file to syslinux.cfg
This process has been working until the lucid release (i haven't tried
the alpha 1, just the alpha 2).
When I try to boot my LiveUSB i receive the following message on console
stdin error: 0
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sr0: No medium found
/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sr0: No medium found
Over and over and over until it fails completely and fallback in the busybox
command prompt.
Any workaround to make the live usb to work?
