Please, can you tell us whether this is still an issue for you?
If so, please, can you include your last karmic kernel (2.6.31-16)?
To do it, just run following command from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal) while running Karmic. It
will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report.
apport-collect -p linux 507720
