Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
Debian has applied upstream patch to fix FTBFS under python 2.6.3 hence
can be synced.
Changelog since current lucid version 1.1.1-1ubuntu1:
python-django (1.1.1-2) unstable; urgency=low
* Remove embedded "decimal" code copy and use system version instead. The
"doctest" code copy cannot be removed as parts of Django depend on modified
behaviour. (Closes: #555419)
