Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Hi, I am using NIS (aka: YP) When I resume after hibernating to RAM, I cannot play any sound. I checked the script /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/01PulseAudio The problem seems to be, that the sudo-commands in the resume-function needs an home-directory, but because of NIS, I think, it cannot be identified at this point of resume. The error of the sudo-command is: do_ypcall: clnt_call: RPC: Unable to send; errno = Network is unreachable YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN: Domain not bound do_ypcall: clnt_call: RPC: Unable to send; errno = Network is unreachable YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN: Domain not bound do_ypcall: clnt_call: RPC: Unable to send; errno = Network is unreachable YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN: Domain not bound A workaround is to execute "pulseaudio -k" for the user is logged in after resume is completed, so I changed the above mentioned script and add "killall pulseaudio" at the end of the resume-function, but that is not very nice, also I have to un-mute after resume. ;) I try to change the order of the scripts (in /usr/lib/pm- utils/sleep.d/), but this does not work. I would be glad for any working solution. Thanks in advance!
