Public bug reported:

I had to add this line to /etc/udev.d/rules.d/45-libgphoto2.rules to
automatically give permissions for my camera:

SYSFS{idVendor}=="04cb", SYSFS{idProduct}=="01c0", MODE="0660",
GROUP="plugdev"

Instead of adding this manually, it would be really cool if something
could pop up that said "There's an unknown [Fuji] device in your system.
Most USB devices from this manufacturer are [cameras]. Would you like to
give it camera permissions and see what happens? (Enter the
administrator's password to do so)."

Otherwise, the camera works great.
