Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dolphin
I got stuck with a file which has a "bad" filename. I have the following structure: SomeDir - !.txt Trying to delete the file: !.txt with Dolphin fails with an error message "File doesn't exists". Trying to Shift+Del the entire SomeDir folder also gives the same error message. I can't copy, move, rename or delete the file or parent folder (SomeDir). I managed to delete the file by browsing with Dolphin to SomeDir and issuing the following command: rm *.txt ** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cannot delete file with bad filename https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/510018 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
