  Binary package hint: hplip

I am using the HPLIP that comes with Ubuntu 9.10.

I select photos to print through HPLIP, change all the settings to be
photo quality, 6x4 on photo paper through the photo tray and set it to
print. This worked the first time, then it just spewed out A4 pages
with a line or two of garbage (will attach) until I cancelled them all.
I uninstalled HPLIP completely, removed the .hplip folder and
reinstalled HPLIP and then got about 5 photos done before it did the
same again. I tried doing the same again (and removed the printer in
cups and re-detected it) but couldn't get it to print any more.

I have another computer running Ubuntu 9.04 that is working perfectly
  (using hplip 3.9.2 -- I can't remember if I installed a new version from
the site or used the standard one, but it is a lower version than the
  one in Karmic).

Please let me know if I can provide any further logs etc.
