update- Just loaded my daily dose of updates and guess what? Suspend/resume seems to work now. Hibernating is still broken though, same as described above. I will check again the coming days and if suspend/resume keeps functioning OK I'll post that as well. The hibernate/resume issue will be reported in 447192, since they now are obviously not the same (though maybe still related somehow).
