Yes, there's definitly something fishy about this.. Using just your patch, it will not autodetect without reboot, even if I unload all alsa modules. So I used printk to extract the values it tries to match, patch, recompile, install, reload, and then it works. But now I noticed that without this modification, normal reloading also works after it was rebooted once. Whats that about?
