Wicd doesn't solve all the problems. For instance, many universities uses Eduroam software which requires a bit more sophisticated configuration. In Network Manager this can be easily set but how could that matter if NM doesn't want to activate my WiFi! Configuring Eduroam in Wicd is painful.
I had wifi back for a while and it's gone again. What could be done to at least workaround it?
