"not work" means that the fan isn't rotating. If this happens, I don't wait 
till the pc shuts down, rather try to do the stuff i want as fast as i can, and 
then shutdown/restart manually. Last few times the fan didn't start rotating, 
although the acpi parameters were in.
I put it in the grub2 default file like this:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi.power_nocheck=1
acpi_osi=linux"

and of course run update-grub. At booting in the grub menu i can see
these parameters are there. Do you think that kernel doesn't use them
sometimes?
